SSH Telnet in Shared Website Hosting
When you have a shared website hosting account with our company and you'd like to handle your content remotely through SSH, you could receive SSH access to the account using your Hepsia Control Panel. If your package doesn't offer this feature by default, you may add it with a couple of clicks through the Upgrades menu. In the SSH section of the Control Panel, you will see the host, the port number and the username you should use when you connect to the account. You could also choose what password you would like to use, considering that it does not have to be the same as the one for the account. We have prepared many Help articles where you may find all the commands that you'll be able to use with a shared hosting package, plus examples of how they're used. Moreover, if SSH access is permitted for your account, you'll be able to establish a Secure FTP (SFTP) connection via a standard client like FileZilla, for example.
SSH Telnet in Semi-dedicated Servers
You shall be able to connect to your semi-dedicated server account through SSH irrespective of which plan you choose when you sign up. With some packages, the feature is offered by default, and with others, it could be included as and additional upgrade for as long as you need it. You will discover the required login details in the Hepsia CP, provided with all accounts - the host/server name, the port number and the login name. You will be able to pick the password you'll use and if you'd like, you can change it on a regular basis with a couple of clicks for even higher security. You will be able to see all the commands which you can use in advance, since we have listed all of them alongside examples of how they are used so as to carry out a specific task. The moment SSH access to your semi-dedicated server account is activated, you will be able to use an FTP program and establish an SFTP connection.
